Does anyone remember the BEATINGS the NFC put on the AFC in the 80's and the 90's

Where you hoped for a close game, but every year it was another BLOWOUT over at Half time.

I mean outside of these past 4 years it has always been that that way....more than not

THIS IS AN AFC BLOW OUT

NEW ENGLAND -7

as in most superbowls take the experience team... or the most disciplined...
The brady bunch has been there looking to get it done again...bellis boys will keep the team in line...
As for carolina they had a story book season reminds me of the chargers back in the 20th century...carolina because of the fast push to the top may over celebrate....
new england is the better team and should win this game by 4-10...watching the line to move to 7 1/2 public will love the patriots this year....already have the patties at 15-1 to win so im may be betting the panthers to cover for 3 units...will be in hawaii for the game...

I agree with Newport. I think Pats win by at least 14 pts, but you never know. Car might do to them what they did to the Rams.

Carolina has the better team and better players and beats the Pats outright. Take the moneyline and make some real money.

I agree with almly. Aiso, New Egland won't have the freezing weather to hide behind. Carolina WILL get to Brady and his bunch.

Actually, I would probably like the under also but it just seems that points get scored in the Super Bowl. If it wasnt the Super Bowl I'd probably put a dime or so on the under myself.

Panthers on defense play nickel or dime coverage and Brady struggles. No running game for the Pats so play action useless. Carolina will attempt to run the ball and not give up on it. Take the points.

If the panther decide to run a nickel and dime gamne, the pats will have a running game. Smith has been good in the playoffs, and the pats offense isnt destoryed by a nickel due to its quick/short nature.

Best part of Carolina D are excellent pass-rushing ends. Pats will negate these by short drops in passing game and endless supply of great possession receivers unlike total lack thereof on Eagles. Laying the 6.5 while still there.

Everyone is talking about the Carolina defense getting to Brady but what about the NE defense? New England only gave up 3.6 YPC this year and they lead the league in INT's. They shut down Davis and force Delhomme to pass and they are in trouble. Yes, Delhomme is a nice Quarterback, but this the SuperBowl! Belichik will find a way to get this done just like he shut the Rams down 2-3 years ago.

I think we will all agree that the AFC was the much stronger conference this year. Indy, New England, and Tennessee were the top teams in the league this year and either one of these teams would be favored over Carolina. I know, I know, Tennessee had 4-5 losses this year. Well, 4 of them were to New England and Indy.

mr.teaser - I was thinking that way during the end of the regular season but I soon came to realize that it's not gonna happen. New England doesn't have the names but they play as a complete team. They don't have any team chemistry problems that I know of and all of the NE Pats interviews I have seen have been with very intelligent players who seem like great guys. I think I am slowing becoming a Pats fan. (Next to Tennesee and SF of course)
